Saskatchewan Archaeological Society (SAS) (nominated by Tomasin Playford, Executive Director of SAS) for Trappers and Traders: A Fur Trade Card Game (2018; https://thesas.ca/fur-trade-game/). This card game and associated Teacher’s Guide were created primarily for groups of school-aged children. They teach about material culture and history, as well as archaeology, and serve as a catalyst for deeper discussions about trade, nation building, archaeology, and Indigenous-Crown relationships.
